We are sewing button-up Hawaiian or camp style shirts in sizes 5- 8(and sizes 5- 8 husky/plus) for 1st graders in the APS Title 1 McKinney-Vento Homeless Program* Some fabric, patterns and other supplies will be provided. If you have
them, please bring: a sewing machine, scissors, pins, sewing needles,
pattern(s), woven cotton fabric suitable for August, thread and buttons.
This session is not appropriate for absolute beginners, but we will offer
tips and assistance for confident beginners who want to build new skills.
SEWING MACHINES WILL NOT BE PROVIDED, however, we will have tasks
for all, including sewing on buttons, ironing, cutting, etc.
